TomoTele
TomoTele is a proposed solution to the language learning conversation practice conundrum. Often, language learners lose motivation because they have no one to practice with and no structured curriculum. Tutors are too pricey, so that's where TomoTele comes in! TomoTele will be trained in a few languages to start, and it will allow the learner to have natural conversations to practice their language of choice. These conversations will be used to customize the learner's curriculum, creating lessons, quizzes, and flashcards. The app will feature analytics to help the learner track their progress.
MY ROLE
Product Ownership: Develop a clickable prototype for an MVP of the app TomoTele and a presentation deck addressing the key problems the MVP solves.
Ideation: Designed and conducted user surveys with language learners to understand potential user demographics and features to prioritize in MVP. Analyzed survey results.
Analysis and Strategy: Researched the competitor landscape for the language learning app market by doing a SWOT Analysis, especially as it relates to the use of AI to simulate real-life conversations. Created user personas and defined product market fit to evaluate market positioning.
